Simon has just been nominated for Best Actor in the Dublin Gay Theatre Festival for his portrayal of Jean Bilodeau in Lilies. Considering the great competition – including international artists from other touring companies – this was a welcome surprise. The play also sees nominations for Best Play, Best Director and another Best Actor nomination for Matthew Ian Kelly’s portrayal of The Countess.
